I love to use countdown timers in the classroom. They are a wonderful tool in maintaining a good pace in a lesson and keeping students focused. There are many different ways you can use timers in your classroom and if you have access to a projector or interactive whiteboard, then you can use digital countdown timers on the screen so all students can see and hear them.
