It’s that time of the year again when teachers start thinking about planning the new year ahead and with that being said…who doesn’t love a cute planner to do just that? I know I do!
This year I gave in to all my desires and decided to go with the Happy Planner. I went all out by ordering the teacher box kit which includes:
- 12 months dated Big Happy Planner from August 2021 to July 2022.
- 12 dividers for teachers with graphs and inspiring phrases.
- 2 sticker sheets
- 1 bookmark
- 1 washi tape
This type of planner includes the classic Happy Planner binding rings. They allow you to add and remove pages easily, so you can work on the table more comfortably and include the finished page back in the planner. I haven’t used them before so I hope that it delivers what it promises.
Please know that this is not a paid post. Every year I search for the best planner (I haven’t found one yet, maybe this is the one!) and even though I’m lucky enough for the school to provide teachers with one, it’s nowhere near as cute.
I’ve tried different things throughout the year: making my own, using a variety of planners and even went digital last year. After going digital, I realised how much I actually enjoy writing things down and ended up steering away from the digital planner as well as for much needed less screen time.
When I write things down, it helps me remember them and when it’s pretty and cute it truly does make me happy. What makes me even happier is when things actually do go to plan, but I’ve been in this profession long enough to know that one can never have too many back up plans for when things don’t go to plan! Ha!

Till next time…
