WOW! 6 years and I still love this little baby as much as I did when I first started.

One summer’s day 6 years ago, I decided I would create a blog to write about my passion, teaching. Yes, just like that and ‘Saved You A Spot’ was created.

Generally I’m a person who goes through phases. I tend to starts things, then get bored and start something else, but that didn’t happen with blogging. I guess because the content is ever changing and I always write about what interests me at the time. It’s not something I have to do, it’s something I like to do, so yeah…I guess you can say that makes me a true blogger.

I have managed to write almost every single Wednesday for the last six years. There have been some Wednesdays when life has taken the upper hand and I haven’t had the inspiration or time to write, however, reflecting back on the 6 years overall I think I’ve done pretty well. It is only me who writes on the blog, not a team as many super successful blogs have.

This year I wrote a post that reached over 600,000 views, the most I’ve ever reached. That was a super proud moment and an incredible experience. The feeling of seeing that number increase was indescribable and I can only wish that in the next 6 years, more posts will reach that number or even go beyond.

I’ve had over 440,000 visitors, many recurring which is amazing, and this is the 368th post.
