Edward Lear – Free Resources for Kids

Who doesn’t love a good limerick? A limerick is a humorous and silly poem with five lines. Limericks are often funny or nonsensical and were made famous by Edward Lear, a famous artist and poet who wrote “A Book of Nonsense”.

These free resources can be used on their own when learning about Edward Lear or they can be used in conjunction with other teaching materials. The lessons are designed for independent work so children can go through them on their own when an adult is not around to help and are teacher and parent friendly too.
