Roald Dahl 100

2016 marks 100 years since the birth of Roald Dahl (1916-1990) – the world’s number one storyteller. Many special events will be taking place, throughout 2016, in the U.K. and U.S.A. to mark this special occasion, focusing on Roald Dahl’s amazing characters and glorious stories. See which ones might be near you!

If you’ve been following this blog, you will know that Roald Dahl is one of my all time favourite children’s authors. I have loved all his books, with my top favourites being The Twits and George’s Marvellous Medicine. Celebrate Roald Dahl Day, on the 13th September, by reading one of his books and writing a book review or drawing your favourite character from one of his books or even having a themed party! Download the free party pack from the official Roald Dahl website, and party away!

We’ll be having ours, hopefully on 13th September! Can’t wait! 🙂
