Spring has sprung!

March is the first of the Spring months. Don’t you just love this season? With spring scents in the air, the day getting longer and warmer, it’s time to prepare  the classroom for this season. Here are some ways that can help you do just that!

  1. Get some flowers

Research shows that keeping plants in a child’s learning environment enhances learning capabilities by helping them to concentrate. Not good with plants? Don’t fret, get fake ones! They do the job just as well and last longer. 😉

2. Displays

Create colourful displays with a Spring theme, which will brighten up your classroom. Get the kids involved by making it an art activity. There is a great one coming soon with beautiful butterflies, my personal favourite!

3. Dress accordingly

It’s time to toss those dark and dreary colours. Wear bright colours and bold prints, to match the season’s mood.

4. Picnicking

Why not surprise your pupils with a surprise picnic! Take them out to have their lunch and sit under a tree. They can enjoy the good weather and have lunch whilst appreciating nature.

5. Spring snack

This is the time to make the most of the lovely fruit and vegetables, which can be found at abundance. Bring healthy colourful snacks to school and encourage your pupils to eat like the rainbow.

Happy Spring to all! 🌷

Till next time…
