Crate seats have been everywhere on Pinterest for the last…forever! For years I have been looking at pictures of them in awe and have always longed to have them in my classroom. This year, I decided to take the plunge and make my own version of them. Wanting to make reading stand its own ground and to emphasise the importance of it, a reading corner was in need. What better way than to add some crate seats to make it accessible to more pupils!

After receiving requests to share how I made the crate seats in my room, here is a step by step guide on how to make them yourself!

It’s really easy! Just give it a go!
