In preparation for next year, I have already decided upon my classroom theme. As you can see I have a soft spot for dots. This is the first year that I will have a ‘themed’ room and I am quite excited. I have been inspired by my favourite website, pinterest, which has lots of ideas for things to do. Stay tuned to see how this will progress over the summer… 

Preparing the alphabet. I love this one because of its cursive style.

You may think, an alphabet in Year 6. Why..? Well in an inclusive school, one where children from all over the world attend, coming from different backgrounds and cultures; as well as being exposed to different writing systems…an alphabet can only beneficial.
